In the deep mission, the guy who got kanaxai mallet drop died, and was only me and the shadows alive, I said I would pick it up and give it back to him in the deep. So he left the game and he got his mallet.

This thread makes me feel kinda bad...I haven't really done anything.

Off the top of my head, I've powerleveled anyone thats asked. 5+ characters in total.

Bought some materials off someone I didn't really need..but who would've bought 500 iron and bones anyway.

And misc help capping skills and the like. There must be a correlation between giving and getting things..since I am not really involved in either. *shrug*

Since I was on a new character, I was level 4 at the time while he was level 12. When he asked, I pulled a mild guilt-trip when he asked how much gold I had - only had 5-- or so. But that didn't stop him pretending he only had 10gold because he got "robbed" and passively begging from me while we played.

What can I say? I was curious how low he could go. He turned out to be some limbo world champion or something. I suppose that could be considered trolling, but it's not like I ever confronted him about it. I was just curious at what makes the exploitative types tick.

I was going to the forgemaster person, and i was going to get my ranger FoW armor, and there was another ranger in the group, and when we got to the crafter she started to cry about how she forgot about the 15k per piece, and I had 98k on me before i bought my set, and me and the rest of the people in the group were able to scrape together enough so that she was able to get her armor. afterword when we got back to the town place she gave us each our money back + 5 ecto. Happy times. (we didnt even mention her repaying us ^^)

Some guy was trying to sell a mini Shiro for 10k...I told him the actual prices, and he almost kicked himself. Thank goodness he hadn't sold it yet, lol. I've done things like that several times though, especially with prices and suggestions.

Pillz that is just freakin sweet! Wanna help me get mine

Anyways... nicest thing for today... gave out every last bit of gold I had in the world to a guildie (who also happens to be my brother but lets negate that part).....
AND!... And this is the best part.... I kept myself from responding to some crazy persons post! I think I am more proud of me for this one than any of you could possibly be. But I think several mods and others are having a collective sigh of relief! (The title didn't say it had to be ingame so )

Sorry in a chipper mood, and now I go back to that stupid Adventure Quest RPG that is a silly banner on this board (and thusly I clicked it )

dosent this thread kinda defeat the point of generous acts? not that they should be thankless but showing them off is bit crass
It doesn't defeat their point. But it does lessen them.

A formula for morality:

Formulate an act with Compassion
Undertake the act with Courage
Accept responsibility for the act with Humility

and you basically perform a moral act. At least people here are using compassion. That's a start.

P.S.

"now I go back to that stupid Adventure Quest RPG that is a silly banner on this board"
addictive game. good luck getting on w/o paying though.

While starting a new character in pre-searing, I came across this guy that was totally new to the game. Taught him how to target, what all the hotkeys were, how the attributes worked, pretty much everything. Carried him like a suitcase until we got to post-searing. He gave me all his extra skale fins in thanks, heh.

i once gave someone 750k. ok so it was ME giving ME the 750k- transfering between 2 accts on 2 comps

but seriously, im a pretty decent fellow in game. i dont rage quit either, i often teach people solo farming builds (ettins, hydras, IDS, etc) when i see them spamming for a group. im a huge sucker for anyone wanting to cap skills. i can honestly say im not one to give out free gold, but im more than happy to offer information on how they can make it quickly.
